CaseEntry Security & Data Practices

CaseEntry is designed to support simple documentation workflows while keeping data handling limited and transparent.

• CaseEntry does not require a user account or login.

• CaseEntry does not store notes on an Ocean Coast Ventures server.

• Notes and drafts are stored locally on the user’s device.

• Unsent drafts are automatically deleted after 5 days.

• When a user sends a note, CaseEntry opens the device’s email composer for review and sending.

• CaseEntry does not automatically transfer data into an agency’s case management system.

• Users are responsible for following their organization’s security, privacy, email, and documentation requirements.

• Use client identifiers rather than full names whenever possible.

• CaseEntry is intended to support documentation, not replace an organization’s official record system.
